What is SIMAK?

A shooting simulator that turns any room with a projector into a training range. The shooter fires a training firearm with a laser emitter at the projected scenario; a camera detects every shot and the software turns it into a real hit on the target, the silhouette or the threat.

  • Zero ammunition and zero risk: no range and no ballistic safety measures needed
  • Objective measurement: points, grouping in millimeters and reaction times
  • Repeatable: the same exercise, under the same conditions, as many times as needed

How it works.

From shot to impact instantly, with off-the-shelf equipment you already know.

Shot

The shooter pulls the trigger of a training firearm with a laser emitter, which only turns on at the moment of the shot.

Projection

The projector shows the scenario on a screen or a wall, with life-size targets.

Detection

A camera watches the projection and locates the laser flash frame by frame, with millimeter precision.

Impact

The software applies the ballistics of the chosen firearm, scores the shot and makes the target react instantly.

Real ballistics

The impact shifts according to the firearm (zeroing, bullet drop, wind and dispersion), just as it would with live ammunition.

Easy installation

Off-the-shelf equipment: a Windows computer, a projector, a camera, speakers and training firearms.

Six scenarios, from fundamentals to combat.

Real footage from the simulator. Each clip plays silently while you watch.

Indoor range · 10 m precision

Ring target at 10 meters, real-time hits and an on-screen helper target.

Outdoor range · Moving targets

Silhouettes that move closer and farther away; every hit is scored by zone.

Urban rooftop · Enemy shooters

Enemies that take cover, peek out and shoot from a rooftop.

Street · Crossing enemies

Moving targets between cars and barricades: reaction and accuracy.

Building · Hostage clearing

Room by room: hostages must not be hit, and they run away once freed.

Final room · End of the simulation

Threats shoot back: cover matters. At the end, the results.

Train as a team.

Several shooters can train at the same time in front of the projection, each in their own lane and with their own score sheet, while the instructor runs the exercise from the console.

  • Reaction to contact and decision-making under pressure
  • Telling threats from civilians
  • Use of cover: threats only fire when they have line of sight

The instructor console.

Its own screen, separate from the projection: set up the exercise, register shooters, start and stop the series and follow the live scoreboard.

Measurable results for every shooter.

The instructor no longer evaluates «by eye»: there is data to correct mistakes and compare progress over time.

Times

Time to first shot, split times between shots and total time of the series.

Score

Points by zone or ring, and points per second (hit factor).

Grouping

Average radius and maximum spread of the group, in millimeters.

Group center

Tells a firearm zeroing problem apart from an aiming problem.

Tactical scenarios

Threats neutralized, reaction time, civilians hit and times the shooter was hit.

History

Score sheet per shooter, same format for precision and 3D, and export of every series to CSV.

Train more. Spend less. Measure everything.
